What is the Beach Ball? 6 years ago, a little fundraiser called the Beach Bash was established in support of the fight against women’s cancers. Now dubbed the Beach Ball, this event is has become the industries largest fundraiser and social event AND the only one hosted by a cross section of industry members including Design Firms, Suppliers, Manufacturers and Contractors! In just a few years what started as a little fundraiser has raised over $125,000.00 for the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Odette Cancer Centre. On Thursday, June 23rd the Beach Ball will kick off the summer once again at the Sunnyside Pavilion on the shore of Lake Ontario. We are going to raise a ton of money by kicking off our shoes, dancing in the sand, and toasting the arrival of summer!
Directions: Sunnyside beach pavillion can be reached by car, TTC or shuttle bus.
By Car: Parking lots are accessible off of lakeshore blvd from both east and west, parking lots shown in yellow above. Travel from west to east shown in purple, travel from east to west shown in orange. By TTC: Take the Queen streetcar to Colborne Lodge Dr., walk south on Colborne Lodge to Martin Goodman trail. By Shuttle: Check back soon for information regaurding pick-up/drop-off location and times for the shuttle.
